ECO-TOURING IN LOS CABOS

KAYAKING-SNORKELING                There are some great combined tours offered locally, that include both kayaking and snorkeling. You can kayak for an hour or two and then snorkel from the shore.  When you are here in Los Cabos you can do these activities on your own but it is always best to have a guide show you the best sites, give you assistances and information on all marine life you will be seeing. The Chileno/Santa Maria tour for half day trips and the full day Cabo Pulmo excursions with Nomadas de Baja .

SNORKELING:
No matter if you are an avid snorkeler or just a beginner, there is no shortage of snorkel spots for you to enjoy.  Some of the best spots are as close as a twenty-minute drive and depending where you are staying you can easily access the best snorkeling right from the shore. There are rental facilities at some of the popular beaches. There are some many different species of fish to see you won't want to miss out! I learned to snorkel from these shores and can attest to the fact that anyone can do it. The crystalline blue hues offer a clear view, which will lure you in.  How can you refuse when you can see the sandy bottom and all the vibrant life underneath you?  A secret trick and not one recommended for the first time snorkeler, is to take a package of crackers or bread into the water with you and slowly break it into the water. The fish will come running and you get a close look at their beautiful colors and shapes.
