ECO-TOURING IN LOS CABOS
SURFING:
If you are looking to learn a new skill why not try surfing or boogie boarding. There are some wonderful beaches to go surfing and some excellent tours that offer full instruction as well as your day at the beach. With the right conditions and a qualified surfing instructor you will be up on the board boogying to the sound of the surf. You may find another reason to keep returning to our shores. There are a variety of surf locations from San Jose del Cabo and the East Cape to the Pacific side of the peninsula. Take a tour with one of the local tour experts and take care when participating in these ocean sports, as the waves can be high and tides strong.
DESERT TOURS:
There is much to do for the ocean enthusiast but how about getting out and into the desert? The desert offers some spectacular scenery and is best seen on a hiking or biking tour. If you go out with a reputable company ask them if they have a certified guide. The Mexican Government certified guides have been trained to tell you about the history, plants, flowers and wildlife, including the birds. The best hiking areas are outside of town. We suggest booking a trip that takes you to the east cape of the peninsula. You can visit an oasis town whose tropical greenery are in such a contrast to the earth brown desert hues. After your hike sit and relax in a hot springs pool and soak your body in natural minerals found in the springs or hike up the riverbed to swim in the cool water pool.
