6th Day of the Kings (Dia de Los Reyes). Traditional Mexican gift giving day for children, in honor of the Three King´s to the baby Jesus. A sweet roll with a plastic miniature of Baby Jesus hidden inside is shared by family and friends. Whoever gets the baby hosts the party on february 2nd.

1st All Souls Day (dia de todos los santos). On this day, Mexicans pay homage to the souls of childrens who have passed on. November 1st is also the date of the annual “Informe”, or National state of the Union Adress by the nation´s president. All banks and government offices are closed.
2nd Day of the Dead
20th Revolution Day. Marks the anniversary celebration of the Revolution of 1910-1917. As this is a holiday, most government offices, banks and some businesses are closed.
