Driving from the US or Canada to Los Cabos
Great choice, a two day trip from San Diego where you will see an incredible natural beauty, you will never regret these two day investment, avoid driving at night just for two reasons, one, you may miss the best part of the trip and two you may hit a very big and black cow without any warning lights.

Move Around

Airport Transportation:
If you have a vacation package, the ground transportation  airport-hotel-airport is included and all you have to do is look for the nice fellow with your vacation package company sign and that is it.
If you are not part of these, then you have two choices, a private taxi or the public shuttle, both may be hired conveniently hassle free at the airport.

Move Around Los Cabos
Two choices:
Rent a Car or take a Taxi. As usual pros and cons of each.

Rent a Car:
Pros: Total freedom, go anywhere, discover Los Cabos at your pace, at the time you feel like it and as long as you want. You may rent your car right on the airport.

Cons: Parking may be annoying around downtown area where all the action is, and as usual, driving and drinking do not mix. Los Cabos is small but getting lost is fairly easy, the good part is that no matter how lost you could get, we will never need a National Geographic  Expedition to find you.
 

Taxis:

Pros: They are everywhere, easy to spot and use, no matter how long you party, a taxi will be waiting and with a sober driver.

Cons: They are convenient since they are all over, there is a rate chart sealed by the Municipality, verify it !!!
